Oh, the Horror!

So, out of pure curiosity, I checked back on some of my posts from 2010. Hmm... I wish this blog had not been crafted by 10 year old me. For your own sake, and for the sake of my dignity, please, PLEASE, do not go back there. Pretend I just started this blog. No one needs to know of those dark times. And, let this be a word of advice to all others out there. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT allow your children to post multiple times about the health of their fish, (Which, by the way, all died except for four.) the current state of the school's Twilight vs. Harry Potter war, or how this is totally not their mother. They will regret it. Thank you for bearing with me. From this moment on my posts will be, (or at least attempt to be.) witty, and not about fish. Unless it's something to do with Tsukiji fish market, because that would be pretty cool. Peace out for now, and a shout-out to all my homies in the states.

Christmas, Japan, and Birthdays... Oh my!

Okay. So, it's been a really long time since I've blogged, so I figure I'd better start again. From the beginning- The first thing that's happened since I've stopped blogging is Christmas. Overall, Christmas is generally an awesome thing. And this one was no exception. Zach got me some awesome pajama pants. So awesome they make my head explode. Figuratively. I also got some Ugg boots, stuff to do a hermit crab thing (possibly the most specific phrase ever), Luke got me a glow in the dark alarm clock, and no one can recall what Chase got me.Though one of the awesomest gifts I got (besides the aforementioned pants) was a Kindle Touch. Which I use quite often.
My family found out we're moving to Japan! We will be in the same housing area as our Westhoff (Matt and Stephanie) cousins there. Plus, I also started the band thing in my school. I have chosen to play the clarinet. I am in the advanced band and my first concert will be on April 26. Also on that date is my school's Arts GALA in which I will be performing a play with my friends. Since it was written entirely by students and we have received little teacher support (not that the teachers are unwilling to help {just that we haven't really needed it}), I doubt we will actually be able to pull it off. We may have to end up doing it in the talent show at the end of the year.
Also, more recently, it is my birthday! I am officially eleven! Yay, second double digit birthday. Also the least climactic of all the kid years. Eleven and fifteen (the age my pants-giving brother is) are some anticlimactic years, I'll tell ya...
Anyway, that pretty much brings you up to speed on my life. I'll post some pictures soon.

-This article brought to you in part by readers like you. And, in a much greater part, by the pants-giving brother who keyboarded the dictation.-

School's Out!!!!

I'm so sorry that I haven't posted in forever!! Anyway, school got out June 17th and we've got 73 days till we have to go back. I will be going into 5th grade and will be turning eleven during the school year. I have only got two fish left. One, the blue guppy, and the other, the miniature catfish. We will get more fish soon. Ciao for now!

Sad Fishie News

The reason I am posting today is because my dear fish Apollo died. I realize now that I have no pictures of him to post so I am making sure I have pictures of my other fish in case they die too I will remember what they looked like. Something is definately wrong with the white fish pictured above (Aphrodite). She has small white spots shaped like grains of salt all over her body and fins. I think it is white spot or Ich. So things are looking grim in my fish tank.

On the bright side, the other three fish Hades, Posiedon and Trident are all looking healthy (though Aphrodite may infect them if she is sick.)

The fish below are my guppies.

Painting

Today Mom let me use my paints. As you can see, I have a lot of them.

First, I painted a tree. I don't have a brown paint- so I had to make my own. I blended Barn Red, Black, and White.

I painted this one second and for FHE. I was doing the lesson on Martin Luther King Jr. For those of you who can't read it the quote says,
I have a dream that one day
Little black boys and little black girls
Will hold hands
With little white boys and little white girls.
-Martin Luther King Jr.

To show that things should not be segregated, we are having Smoothies for the treat. All the different fruits are blended together to make one glass of deliciousness!

Well, I have news for you Uncle Brad. I DID THE FILMING (we made a movie of it) AND ME AND CHASE DUCT TAPED HIM JUST FOR FUN!!!! DUNN WAS GONE!!!!!! (character switch) Uncle Brad, you should run now.
